Has done a lot of videos on the matrix headlights. I would suggest that you check those out and contact him. He’s very responsive.


Now if we really want to add self parking fellas WE NEED TO DO MODULE COMPARISONS OF BCMS!

BCMs are where the magic happens! Jump on the bandwagon! We can crowd source this challenge!

If you want start stop to be disabled on p400, then you need a lead acid swap for your lithium battery or disconnect the plug black on negative terminal but you will lose heated steering wheel as well.

Only p300 gets last user mode stop start functionality.


I see... No wonder it didn't work on my car, I have a US spec 2022 p400, well guess I'll do it manually. BTW what do you mean by lithium battery? I'm pretty sure all defenders come with Bosch AGMs no?

Ian can you confirm MultiCAN-566 MHLastUserMode set to enabled does not work for p400 MHEV models? If so might be worth adding a footnote in the summary page to keep people informed, thanks!

Thanks for the reply,
to help “dukluck”,I need to know US market premium headlight hardware.
For this reason I need the photograph of the headlight ecu scan.
I know very well the various differences in headlights on the European market, I have successfully retrofitted the matrix on my Defender, and helped other European users to succeed.
When, as in this case, a major failure problem arose, it was always due to an incorrect hardware problem.
I await support from the forum, possibly also in pm.

It works fine on my p400 MHEV.

Anyone been able to get the soft volume control to function? All I get is a readout of “0” and no volume control. It will show mute status? Thanks!


I believe that the volume control key will work on only MY24 or above vehicles.
On my friend's MY24 worked, but mine MY23.5 didn't. Crying or Very sad


Disappointing.

Traffic sign recognition
Hi. I have a 22 V8. I think for our country traffic sign recognition is turned off. Does anyone know how to turn this feature on using the GAP tool?

I managed to change the alarm setting, Interior sensors.
Struggled 3 years now with it when my dog was in the car.

In the manual, 1st lock does not engage the interior sensors, for my country the first lock engages the interior sensors.
I needed to disengage the interior sensors always before in the Pivi menu with running engine.

So finally I can keep my dog shortly in the front with Windows partially opened whitout thinking before to change the settings

Multican 563. AlrmSensoronSingLock = Single Lock
Changed to - No Alarm Sensors on Single Lock.

( This setting could be region dependent, I now for the Netherlands and Germany at least) No Mud flaps for my 90.!

Just keeping up and for notes, the Parking Assist works up to the point when Start is greyed out.

The GSR2 setting does nothing for my MY23.5 D90S P300.

Has anyone figured out how to force headlights on, like required in Denmark?
